Pappardelle with Herbal ArtiHearts and Basil Garlic Chef Butter

This is a super easy and tasty pasta dish. Ready in minutes, its beautiful and fresh. You can use jarred roasted red peppers if you don’t want to fire up the oven

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Pappardelle pasta
  • 1 pkg Herbal ArtiHearts
  • 1 roasted red pepper, seeded and julienned
  • 2 handfuls cleaned arugula
  • ½ roll Basil Garlic Chef Butter
  • sea salt and fresh ground pepper
  • Grated Reggiano parmesan

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of water to boil and add the pappardelle.
  • Boil until al dente, about 8 minutes. Remove the Artihearts from the package and separate any that are stuck together.
  • When the pasta is ready, drain it into a colander and rinse. In the same pot over medium heat, melt the Basil Garlic Chef Butter and add the ArtiHearts.
  • Sauté until the hearts are warmed through, about 3 minutes. Return the pasta to the pot with the ArtiHearts, add the strips of roasted red pepper and mix thoroughly.
  • At the last minute, add the arugula and salt and pepper to taste. Divide into two bowls and grate the cheese over the top. Serve immediately.
