Pappardelle with Herbal ArtiHearts and Basil Garlic Chef Butter
This is a super easy and tasty pasta dish. Ready in minutes, its beautiful and fresh. You can use jarred roasted red peppers if you don’t want to fire up the oven
Servings: 2
- 8 oz Pappardelle pasta
- 1 pkg Herbal ArtiHearts
- 1 roasted red pepper, seeded and julienned
- 2 handfuls cleaned arugula
- ½ roll Basil Garlic Chef Butter
- sea salt and fresh ground pepper
- Grated Reggiano parmesan
Bring a large pot of water to boil and add the pappardelle.
Boil until al dente, about 8 minutes. Remove the Artihearts from the package and separate any that are stuck together.
When the pasta is ready, drain it into a colander and rinse. In the same pot over medium heat, melt the Basil Garlic Chef Butter and add the ArtiHearts.
Sauté until the hearts are warmed through, about 3 minutes. Return the pasta to the pot with the ArtiHearts, add the strips of roasted red pepper and mix thoroughly.
At the last minute, add the arugula and salt and pepper to taste. Divide into two bowls and grate the cheese over the top. Serve immediately.
